Sangdao # 4 Thai Reeled Silk Yarn from the Isan area of Thailand. Bleached white ready to be dyed.
Approximately 34,000 meters per kilogram (m/kg)
Sett similar to 60/2 spun silk (or roughly 60 epi for tabby weave)
At the moment there is a 5 kilo minimum order: 5 x $170 = $850 plus shipping. When we have time we will be offering smaller quantities as well as dyed silk yarns so please let us know what you are interested in.
The silk comes in roughly ten- 100 gram skeins per 1 kilo brick.
The yarn gets thicker as you go up in number. For example Sangdao #5 is thicker than Sangado #1. Please email us for more details.
